Queen - A Kind Of Magic (Remaster Dolby Headphone FLAC) ADHDerby [WWRG] I'm a big surround music fan and made this album so I can listen it in surround through headphones on a portable player. Dolby Headphone, sometimes referred to as Mobile Surround, is a technology which allows you to listen to music, watch movies, or play video games with surround effects using any set of two channel stereo headphones. The sources of this release are surround versions of the tracks ripped from the SACD. Genre: Rock Style: Pop Rock, Synth-pop SACD Release Date: March 28, 2012 Original Release Date: June 02, 1986 Label: Island Records - UIGY-9526 Source: SACD 2.8224 MHz 2.0 DSD Resampler: Adobe Audition Sample rate: 44100 Hz Bits per sample: 16 Codec: FLAC A Kind of Magic is the twelfth studio album by British rock band Queen, released in 1986. It was their first studio album to be recorded digitally, and is based on the soundtrack to the film Highlander, the first in a series directed by Russell Mulcahy. Although Queen would release another two albums with Freddie Mercury (excluding posthumous releases), A Kind of Magic would turn out to be the band's last album promoted with a concert tour, because of Mercury's diagnosis with AIDS the following year, which subsequently caused his death in 1991. For the first time in their career, the band allowed filming of them while they were in the recording studio. The video for "One Vision" shows them in various stages of writing and recording the song. The album enjoys the status of an unofficial soundtrack for the 1986 film Highlander (for which no official soundtrack album was released). The title, "A Kind of Magic", derived from one of the lines Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) says to describe his immortality. Six out of nine songs on the album appeared in the film, although in different versions. The three songs that did not appear in Highlander are "Pain Is So Close to Pleasure", "Friends Will Be Friends" and "One Vision" (which was featured a year earlier in the film Iron Eagle). Tracklist: 01. One Vision (5:09) 02. A Kind Of Magic (4:24) 03. One Year Of Love (4:26) 04. Pain Is So Close To Pleasure (4:21) 05. Friends Will Be Friends (4:07) 06.
